Finding a place to store jackets and coats in your own house can be quite troublesome especially when planning to have a lot of people over and that's where wall coat racks become the solution. Parties are the best way to show off your mink coats and fur collections provided there is enough closet space to hold all of yours and your guests' coats. There can never be a better way to show your coat collection than showing it with a nice coat rack.
In the basement: If you enter the basement through a separate door, dress up the space with a decorative wall mount coat rack. When you arrive home from work, simply hanging your coat inside the door gives you one less thing to worry about. Plus, your coat will be there waiting tomorrow, when you have to get up and do it all over again. Many basements serve as family game rooms, lending themselves to fun designs, like one made of brass, featuring miniature pool balls on each hook.
In the bathroom: If a wall mounted coat rack supports heavy coats, why not use it to hang bathroom towels? Mounted directly beside the shower, towels stay within reach, or it can be mounted on the door, if you prefer. Whereas towel bars only accommodate a couple of bath towels, a coat rack with four hooks conveniently holds the whole family's towels. Finding a fun design to match most bathroom decor is easy, whether a whimsical fish or seashell design, or fabulous floral, is more your taste.
The bottom line with wall mounted coat racks is that they involve a two stage process. First, you think about stylistic ideas that you may have. What color do I want my coat rack to be? What do I want it to be made out of? And then there is the practical application of actually putting the thing up on the wall. This is where the rubber meets the road. But if you follow my directions given above you should be fine. Just know that the work and thinking that you are putting into this project right now will be returned ten-fold if you are detail-oriented and insist on being very thorough in your hanging.
Coat racks with cubby holes over the shelving area can be used for commercial purposes as well. You can keep the coats at the bottom and stuff like bags and gloves on the top shelf. Bathrooms can be a great place to use these wall coat racks when you are in bathtub and need a place to put your hand towels and clothing. There is something that a wall coat rack can do and regular towel racks can't- it allows you to dry multiple towels at once. When put in a closet these can be used for hanging belts, scarves and ties. They are an easy to install accessory that doesn't get in the way. They can be used anywhere and can match any décor easily. They are great as hanging storage spaces. It doesn't matter where you want to use them. These wall coat racks are an extremely versatile item that can store almost anything you want.
