It is apparent that when people mention a coat rack, the immediate thought that comes into mind is a coat rack stand. It has the semblance of a "tree" and it has branches wherein coats and other articles of clothing may be placed. It's the more traditional choice in buying a rack for a home or an office. However, a wall mount coat rack is gaining more and more popularity nowadays because it is not as bulky as its "tree" counterpart. It saves more space, it is relatively more functional and it is also as (if not more) visually appealing.
Another use for coat rack stands, is when a bag, purse needs a spot to hang out, while an individual is visiting somewhere that a bag or purse is not allowed. Although it is not a wise idea to hang a purse which has a wallet or money in it, in a place where others have access to it. Sometimes an individual does not have a choice in the matter. Back packs and book bags have a loop hole usually located near the top, so that the item can be hung, most likely on the coat stand.
An example of a simple five-hook chrome and white enamel coat rack that can be affixed to a wall in a matter of minutes can be found at a certain extremely large website for about $30. And even though the price is relatively inexpensive, the rack itself is sturdily-built and designed to take a literal beating from its users. Definitely, the rack delivers much value for the money, it would have to be said.
